to prevent the wood from splitting, we recommend pre-drilling the screw holes.
the roof or floorboards of the garden house may have an unplaned surface, a jagged edge or fallen branches at the edges. To get the best result, it is possible to install the tables in such a way that the mentioned defects are hidden in the final finish by turning the tables over.
in order to achieve the best weather resistance, after painting the doors and windows, the places where the glass and wood meet must be siliconed.
to ensure the stability of the wall, we recommend that short wall parts (less than 1 m) be fixed together with screws (not included). But not higher than 1/3 of the wall height from the ground.
when installing roof boards, an expansion space of 1-2 mm must be taken into account.
in order to prevent discoloration, warping, swelling, the garden house must be finished immediately after assembly as a whole with a wood preservative, at least on the outside (including windows and doors, which must be finished on both sides).
prepare a foundation that takes into account the size of the house and the characteristics of the soil. Only a plumb line and a strong foundation ensure future problem-free assembly.
weather conditions (wind, snow, ice, rain) that can damage the product must be taken into account during assembly work.
the gap between the upper edge of the foundation or the first wall element of the garden house and the ground must be at least 45 mm. A moisture barrier must be used between the foundation and the wooden structure.
the base frame must be level and at an angle.
the outer edge of the lower row of walls must be installed outside the outer edge of the foundation (5 mm required).
the longer life of door locks depends on their maintenance. Lock cores and other moving lock parts must be maintained at least once a year with special lock oil or grease (not included in the set).
in winter conditions, it is necessary to protect the roof of the garden house from excessive snow load.
