MADE TO BE ENJOYED!
Hot tubs originate from Japan, where bathing is a centuries-old tradition. As the legend goes, the Japanese got the idea when they saw monkeys bathing in hot springs in winter. Wooden hot tubs have a traditional circular shape. The hot tubs are 150 to 250 cm in diameter, and depending on the tub’s size, three to eight people can bathe in one at the same time. The hot tub can be installed anywhere – as long as the surface is flat and even. The hot tub can be used throughout the year. When properly maintained, you can enjoy relaxation in hot water for years to come. To avoid damage to the tub due to frozen water, it is advisable to drain the tub and pipes after using it in winter. When the weather is hot, we recommend keeping the tub filled with water as cracks might develop in an empty tub when it dries, leading to leaks. For optimal pleasure, the water temperature in the hot tub should be 35–38 °C. The time needed to heat the hot tub varies and depends on the season and the size of the tub. It is a good idea to cover the tub for the time it is being heated as this decreases the time it takes for the water to warm up. Stirring the water occasionally helps to balance the water temperature.
